    For the first time ever, the Saints will be marching and the NRE Hawks will be soaring into the WIN Sports and Entertainment Centres for a titanic double-header on March 15.

    The Hawks will tip off the night at 6:00pm with their clash against the Sydney Kings at the WIN Entertainment Centre. The Dragons will then follow suit and kick off at 8:05pm, taking on the Broncos nextdoor at WIN Stadium.

    There will even be extra activities in the Harbour Street precinct prior to each event, making it the only place to be on Friday 15 March! Friday Night Live will be an epic night as the National Basketball League and National Rugby League converge on Wollongong to battle it out on the court and field.

    Bundled Offer

    The pricing below is for a reserved seat at both the Hawks and Dragons events in the Stadium Bronze category at WIN Entertainment Centre and the Bronze category at WIN Stadium. The ticket will enable you to move easily from one game to the next via express lines, making your total event experience seamless.

    Ticket prices include GST and Booking Fees. Transaction fee may apply. Family tickets include two adults and two children OR one adult and three children (children are under 14 years of age). Concession includes disability, aged, war and TPI, Valid ID must be shown.

    Members get 20% off the other game

    Member Discount

    If you are a Wollongong NRE Hawks member, you are entitled to a 20% discount off the price of a bronze category ticket to the Dragon’s game.

    If you are a St George Illawarra Dragon’s member you are entitled to a 20% discount off the price of a stadium bronze category ticket to the Hawks game.

  • Where to Eat

    A double dose of electric atmosphere and passionate cheering will build up quite an appetite. Wollongong has a number of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars within easy walking distance of WIN Entertainment Centre and WIN Stadium.

    Come on down and enjoy the atmosphere of the precinct with all of the before game festivities.

  • Where to sleep

    After all of the excitement and blood-pumping adrenaline that is bound to ensue, you’ll need a place to crash for the night. Wollongong has an excellent range of nearby accommodation.

    The Chifley Hotel Wollongong is located directly opposite the WIN Stadium and is an excellent option for those looking for a place to park and sleep after two ball-busting games. Just a little further down the road sits the Best Western City Sands, located within the Wollongong Golf Club, and the Adina Apartment Hotel Wollongong.   • Transport, Parking & Access

    With a crowd of 15,000 strong estimated to attend on the night, no one would blame you for thinking the easier option is to stay at home. But where’s the fun in that! To cater for the crowds, additional parking and shuttle buses are going to be available, making access to the venue nice and smooth.

    With this in mind, ticket holders are encouraged to leave plenty of time to arrive at the venue, consider consider public transport options, consider being dropped off and to park legally and considerately.   • Parking

    There are approximately 1,200 parking spaces located within close proximity, a few minutes walking distance from WIN Stadium and WIN Entertainment Centre. Car parks available for patrons of Friday Night Live are:
    • Burelli Street East – free after 4.30pm, and on weekends
    • Stewart Street Multi Story
    • Salvation Army Car Park – Burelli Street
    • St Francis Xavier Cathedral
    • Market Street Car Park
    • David Jones Car Park
    • Crown Central (North & South)
    • Wollongong Station Car Park
    (Special event charges may apply)

    Additional Shuttle Service

    The Dragons Shuttle service runs between Wollongong train station and WIN Stadium via Burelli Street and Market Street car park. The bus will be in operation from 4.00pm-8.00pm and up to one hour after the Dragons match. This service is available to Hawks patrons as well as Dragons patrons.

    Train

    The Wollongong train station is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the venue. Some local buses stop and pick up from the Harbour Street side of the venue. For regular timetables, visit cityrail.info or for timetable and special event information visit 131500.com.au

    Free Gong Shuttle Bus

    Wollongong’s FREE Gong Shuttle Bus makes it easy to get around Wollongong’s City Centre. The bus will operate every 10 minutes between 3:00pm and 6:00pm and every 20 minutes between 6:00pm and 10:00pm.

    A good option is to catch the train to Wollongong Station and take the Gong Shuttle to the venue.

    Road Closure

    The following outlines the times that nearby streets will be closed to enable increased pedestrian activity:
    • Harbour Street northbound (from Stewart to Burelli) will be closed from 12.00noon
    • Harbour Street southbound (from Burelli to Crown)will be closed from 4.00pm
    • Burelli Street (from entrance to Burelli Street East Car Park to Harbour Street) will be closed from 4.30pm
    • Quilkey Place will be closed from 6.00am
